Mia has over 10 years of teaching experience. Most recently, she has worked as Exceptional Education teacher of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders at the Elementary and Pre-K level and has had extensive hands on experience teaching with technology in the classroom. She has won and received numerous awards and accolades including UCF REACH Model Classroom. She has served on numerous writing teams including the District ACCESS Points and District End of Course (EOC) writing and assessment teams. She has presented at conferences and works with the local assistive technology team (LATS) to provide teacher with tools and tip for integrating technology into the classroom. She holds endorsements in Autism and Pre-K ESE.
